I often handle these cases on a contingent fee basis, with no fee upfront from the tenant. - Bad Conditions claims (Violations of the State Sanitary Code: Doors not securing, no stove, no oven, mold, no heat, rodent infestations, lead paint, etc...)
Retaliation claims (Landlord files eviction after tenant makes a complaint of bad conditions or withholds rent)
Consumer Protection claims (unfair and deceptive lease provisions, renting a unit in a condition in violation of the state sanitary code, or other unfair or deceptive practices)

Discrimination claims (Refusing to rent to minorities, pregnant women, families with children, people with disabilities, failure to provide reasonable accomadations for persons with disabilities)
